How to Deal with DOPEs

(Hat tip: Mom)

This is one of the funniest articles I have ever read from the NY Times. I was going to excerpt parts, but it's so hilarious, I couldn't decide which parts to pick. Then I thought to copy the whole thing, but that may be illegal, so... just check it out.

Anyone who has ever had a DELL experience will love this. Old readers of this blog know I've had more than my share...

  4. Mirty - Ouch. I don't even blame the DOPEs (okay, maybe a little) - I'm just sick of Dell having the most poorly managed customer service I've ever dealt with.

On the couple occasions where I was transferred to an American, it was a pleasant experience.

  5. Here in Israel Dell is great. The companies that provide the service for Dell are unmattched by any of the other computer companies. Great response time and quick solutions. Great quality computers that almost never have problems..

My office buys almoste xclusively Dell...

  6. Rafi - what's annoying is that their computers are still superior to any other ones (that I've seen) in the US. Even support-wise, I've heard problems with HP and the like. It's simply frustrating.

  7. I have a free iMac with your name on it Ezzie, if you want. More stable OS and less hassle.

  9. Now it's a G3, so it's hardly top of the line and it needs a new CD drive which I can install, so it will have an itty bitty cost... but that old computer outperforms a heck of a lot of the PCs I see people using on a daily basis.
