A Family Portrait

Here's a cute picture of my family - 25 years ago, before I was born. Notice that my brother, who recently turned 31, was already smaller than my sister, 2 years younger than him. Now, they're both 5'7 or so, which allows me (at 6'0) to make a lot of fun of him. He's currently sitting on the floor of my apartment, trying to avoid having problems with the registration of his car - a car he plans on junking, since it was hit while parked. How did it get hit? Some not-so-wise person decided to get out of his car, with the car running and the keys in the ignition, while there was a drunk passenger in the next seat, and run inside for a few minutes. The passenger, all of 18 years old, decided to drive the car - and succeeded in travelling about 25 feet before sideswiping and badly damaging two parked cars, including my brother's. Genius, right?

Anyways, I thought it was a great, cute picture. Don't you?

  1. How many pictures did you swipe from me? Your big brother was still bigger than your sister at this time. You haven't looked at enough pictures, but I know who was what size and when.....!

  3. You know, your mother and my mother wore the exactsame style of glasses and hair style 25 years ago.

  4. You're 6 feet tall?! And his car was hit while it was parked? There's something you don't see every day...sheesh. :)

  5. LR - LOL, but my mom says it was in style then and everybody did. :)

Chana - Yes, I'm 6 feet, despite what a certain recent chosson likes to joke. Good thing he's at Sheva Brachos, or I'd probably have a couple comments on here from him.

And hey - it's NY. Anything can happen, and unfortunately, they usually do. Ugh. (grumbles about N** Y***...)
