Purim Recap

It was awesome - while being calm and peaceful. Or perhaps because it was calm and peaceful. Not only would I venture that I enjoyed and got more out of Purim than most people, because they were drunk, I'll remember it as well. Isn't it funny how that works?

How was your Purim?

  1. Also nice and calm. There was a Purim carnical up here, and all the kids were dressed up. The weather was fabulous. Al in all, a very freilichen Purim.

  3. Mine was both quiet and... loud. Something's happening to me, but I have no idea what it is. While on the outside, nothing much took place, on the inside I've been having a SuperPurim and everything's been Topsy Turvy. (Still hasn't gone away, by the way.)

  6. Having just returned from Eretz Yisrael on Taanis Esther (which added 7 hours to my fast), jet lagged, having not slept in two days, 2 beers had me on the couch and out.

  7. No... def not a calm purim for me. One of my better Purim's actually (not that I ever had a bad Purim so truthfully they all were amazing) and since I just came back from Odie Brown's wedding were everyone was encouraged to wear costume the entire wedding, it was like (almost) Purim in Israel.
