The Last Tisha B'Av

May this be the last Tisha B'Av we ever have to commemorate as a fast day and day of mourning.

Some good links about the war...
Digital Irony has video of a missile hitting Haifa. What a sound. (via JoeSettler)

IsraellyCool continues his war updates, and has a great piece in the middle from Tom Gross about the media coverage.

Abba Gav has a few good links, including this great piece by James Lileks.

JCP asks if we are willing to sacrifice our lives as this heroic sergeant did.

Through Seraphic Secret, who has been pointing out great stuff all month, are these two pieces: The National Review Online's Noah Pollack discusses that the media reporters are not biased - they're just terrible reporters; and FrontPage Mag's Robert Spencer debunks Qana completely.

  4. JCP is one letter off from ICP. Does that mean I have to dress up like a scary circus freak? [Hamavin Yavin]
