Jewish Nation has posted the photos for the Jewish Photo Challenge. Go check them out and vote for the one you think most captures the Jewish essence.
I previously discussed my submission here; I have a feeling I'm the only one who didn't actually take the photo I submitted. These photobloggers are a talented bunch.
"Yours" is killing. The Asian-Israeli soldier is a good one, but the mincha really captures something.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I feel bad, because I just took a well-known picture. The rest of them took pictures themselves.
ReplyDeleteyour email address is retunring emails with an NDR from Verizon.. Regarding your other post, check out http://jewishsurvivors.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeletedo you know who took the photograph you submitted?
ReplyDeletedon't feel bad, it is a perfect photo for such a topic! :)
It's ok Ezzie, but next time send me one of yours. Le'Hit
ReplyDeleteRafi - you're the second person to tell me that! I don't know why...
ReplyDeleteSarah - Thanks :)
Emanuel - Next time I will...!
your submission was a good one; but it's a faulty image, the way things happened were hardly a spiritual as the spirit of this picture would lead someone to believe.
ReplyDeleteBut that's kind of the point: Through it all, we (should) recognize that we're still one Nation.
ReplyDeleteEven though I've got two pics in there, I'm must say that the one you submitted is amazing.
ReplyDeleteQuick story behind my pic with the asian soldier:
The pic was taken in Chevron and that is my daughter hanging the soldier an "Adopt a Soldier" coupon which gives him a free pizza pie and a Large bottle of Coke to share with friends. Unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough to grab the shot of his smile after he read it and his buddies trying to wrestle it from him in a good natured way.
Sorry, that was "handing" not "hanging" (my daughter would never do that!
ReplyDeleteWow - that's cool!
ReplyDeleteVery best site. Keep working. Will return in the near future.
