On the radio they were discussing (again) whether or not Jennifer Aniston was pregnant. One of the radio hosts had a good point: "If you're an actress, there's always a rumor that you're pregnant"
My version of this: "If you're a kollel wife, there's always a rumor that you're pregnant".
Because if you don't feel well or gain 3 lbs, what other explanation could there possible be?

ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or would someone actually use this as an excuse to wear tight clothes? Like, it's better to wear tight clothes than misleading people into thinking there is a nonexistent pregnancy...
Yup. Catch-22. Damned if you do, dam-er, gossiped if you don't. (Unless people are okay with the tight clothes, which seems to be the case on occasion.)
