Don't think. Thinking is the enemy of creativity. It's self-conscious and anything self-conscious is lousy. You cannot try to do things. You simply must do things.--Ray Bradbury
ATTENTION: This blog will be moved to www.serandmoshe.blogspot.comApparently 'Ez' is now irrelevant.
"No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try."--Yoda
rea - hahahahahahaha...I was thinking something along those line, too!g - Yup!
I disagree with just about every bit of that statement. Bradbury was a smart guy, but he obviously lived a life very different from my ownSorry, Ezzie...no more thinking for you... ;-P
i like it but sometimes one does need to think a little bit.
Do... or do not.Do, or do not. That is the question.
You! W/ the polar bear!Do not defile the master teachers wisdom by reformulating into the works of a lesser...
oy, what he would think of me...
Don't worry Erachet. Shakespeare is WAY better than any silly Star Wars line. Us English people need to stick together. We can have a cookie and ice cream party in my room.
Dear Readers: The "Quotes" are a reflection of the views of their authors. They are not necessarily the opinion of he who posts them. CP - I don't think he meant that you should not think. Just be careful that your life is not overcome with thinking as opposed to doing.
Moshe, I agree with your reading of the quote. There comes a point at which you can be paralyzed by thinking, because you think too much. Don't avoid thinking altogether, but don't let it get you stuck either.
The Apple - How can you dis 'Star Wars' dialogue and the genius writing of George Lucas?? "Old age is always 15 years older than I am now."-Bernard M. Baruch
Rea - it's not dissing per se. There are some good lines in there, I'll give you that. I just have a hard time taking advice from two talking robots, a hairy dog thing, a weird amphibious alien and a girl with a cinnamon bun hairstyle.
a hairy dog thing, a weird amphibious alien ==========Well! may the force be not w/ you.
You! W/ the polar bear!Do not defile the master teachers wisdom by reformulating into the works of a lesser...Well EXCUSE me! At least I know how to write with proper grammar. It should be "master teacher's" and "by reformulating it."
Touché.however...Students of Yoda proper grammer to use they need not :P
And students of Shakespeare know how to use some SYNTAX in their sentences.
They also know how to spell.GrammAr, not grammer. ::sigh::
all right! all right! I surrender.Geez, you try and make use of a little irony...
YES! VICTORY IS OURS!
