My mother a"h had it. She died 16 years ago at age 65, but RA is not a life-threatening disease (although apparently people with RA do have lower life expectancies). Obviously I'm not up on the latest treatments but I can tell you how she coped with it. Email me if you like.
I have Psoriatic Arthritis, another wonderful form of Rheumatism. Its just like Rheumatoid Arthritis but with the added bonus of Psoriasis. I was diagnosed about six years ago and I'm incredibly knowledgeable about the disease and treatments. Feel free to email me.
Hyrax, inflammation by itself doesn't necessarily mean that there is arthritis. There can be many underlying causes. Did anything happen to the hand recently? Has it been in one position for a long time?
just what i know from advil commericals. Sorry
