Too weirded out for words

Pobody's Nerfect pointed me to this . . . all I can say is wow.

Buuuuut moving right along to the comments! My personal favorite:
everyone should learn a big lesson from this -IF YOU DON’T KNOW SOMEONES GRANDPARENTS, AND GREATGRANDPARENTS, YOU SHOULD NOT ALLOW YOURE CHILDREN TO PLAY WITH THEIR CHILDERN!
maybe they should start a Vaad Liyichus Yisroel, and make everyone list their lineage before getting into a school in lakewood!

Snurgle.

Nope, sorry Apple. It got a red underline. That means it's not a word.

  8. Dude's gotta be Jewish. You have to have a yiddishe kup to pull something like that off... check his lineage!

Later on in the comments someone assumes as you did that the commenter was joking and he came back later and said that he was serious:

"#57, i wasn’t joking, i am actually quiet serious. i don’t know about you, but i am going to be extra cautious about who my kids play with.

This guy is proof that rock solid yichus doesn't mean anything. At least not when it comes to spelling and grammar. :-P

  11. fern,

There are many commenters on that web-site who post things merely to rile people up.

I would not put much by his "confirmation".

  12. okay this has got to be the best comment on this YWN article:

"BTW: was he a a YWN poster? under what name?"

  13. Stam - I also thought that one was hilarious :).

G - whatever, not to drag this out, but I really think that his comments could be read either way - it's not 100% apparent whether or not he's joking. Like a certain person says ... sarcasm is an art ;).

That is why?! How about the fact that most of the comments are nonsense?

  17. First a shidduch crisis, now a playdate crisis. When will it end?!

  18. I saw this on YW when it was posted and was perplexed by it. Am I to get a family chart before arranging play dates? What about DNA testing? Can my kid play with a baal tshuvah? What about someone MO playing with someone who is Yeshivish? Where does this stop. The whole thing is silly. Once again showing that (some of) these people are nuts.
