Mazel Tov! Have they been giving you p'sicha? Before our first daughter was born I never got p'sicha. Then one Shabbos morning I asked the Gabbai at the Minyan I was davening at for p'sicha. After I came home my wife went into labor. But it still took 2 days ... Just remember that now, late nights are for changing and getting bottles. And remember that after you make the bottle, bring it to the bedroom, don't leave it in the kitchen like some other sleep deprived new fathers have done.
Ezzie, what I am going to type to you now is of grave importance. This cannot be stressed enough, the very future of your family and thier hapiness may be in the balance, SO LISTEN UP!! Do not forget that at the present time you are living in Galus and it is within this environment, most probably, that your child's formative years will take place. You must be ever vigilant, do not think that you are safe, that you alone are different, that you will be able to withstand the masses by sheer chance. Ezzie, our famalies go back a long time, and truly yours represents much of what is true and right in this crazy and confused world. So please, whatever you do, promise me that no matter what happens, just make sure of one thing when watching after your family...NO YANKEE FANS.
Thank you, that is all.
