the question is, did he do this specifically for youtube or was it more of a shtick taht someone happened to videotape?

Hey YD- I don't get you. Are you seriously promoting this type of behavior? I mean- if you are a Rebbe in a 'MoDox' yeshiva, shouldn't you at least be discouraging this type of behavior. "He's a friend of mine"??? Are you serious?
