This is GOOD :D

From all of us here at SerandEz, we'd like to wish a huge [no pun intended!] Mazel Tov to Special Ed on his engagement!! We love you Ed, and to his dear fiance, as Serach said: You will definitely be getting Olam Haba for this one.

For everyone else - she's a really nice girl, we met her and we think we scared her pretty bad, and to show her greatness... well, she said Yes to Ed!

All kidding aside, a hearty mazel tov, you guys are really great, and we'll see you really soon. :)

  3. K, seriously now. May you continue to be special, Ed (hee - oh wait, I said I was gonna be serious, but I am because I do mean it, it just also happens to be punny!) and...wow, I'm bad at this. I hope both your futures are bright (that was corny and cliche) and - okay, let me word this better - may you guys be happy and healthy and both funny AND normal ('cause Ed is, you know, funny, and I hear she is really normal, so maybe Ed will learn to be normal! No, that came out wrong. Of course we all love you, Ed, for your not-normalness, but I just meant that - BLAH) Okay, enough in the parentheses. You know what I mean. I keep putting my foot in my mouth so perhaps I'd better quit while I'm ahead.

    Mazel tov, etc. etc.

(This comment turned out even weirder than the first)

(Btw, I'm so tempted to say, "Hey, Ed, I saw an engaged person the other day and I thought of you," except that wouldn't make much sense because you weren't engaged the other day and, besides, that's not as funny as when you said it about old people. Wow, I am REALLY bad at this!)

He's been here enough times to know this, I think.

Note to Ed: G now speaks from experience.

fair point and I can see how you might assume that there might not be a difference - allow me to educate you...to this point yoor lack of opinion, as it where, was a passive act in that you lacked an opinion to have --- going forward this will very much become a ACTIVE not havinf of an opinion in so much as your opinion will now be that you have no opinion...again, congratulations;)
