This man, Dr. Sherwin Isenberg, had spent Shabbos with Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg, zt’l. Fortunately, Dr. Isenberg left Mumbai prior to the attacks. As we all know, tragically, the Holtzbergs were not spared the carnage wrought by Islamic terrorists and were murdered in their home. Today, I discovered via Seraphic Secretthat a memorial service was held in L.A. at which Dr. Isenberg movingly described his impressions of the Holtzbergs. Dr. Isenberg was clearly moved as he spoke and to his credit, was able to compose himself and give us some idea of what this special couple was like.
