Well, I'm sort of back. To all those who I owe e-mails to: Sorry, I'm sick. (I guess that's to everyone.)
Sorry about the lack of guest posts in the end. One deleted his post because he didn't like it; another works in a school and couldn't post because they were busy with end of the year stuff; another is addicted to getting in trouble with his wife. ;) Finally, one is in big trouble for not posting (and you know who you are!!).
However, between my being a bit ill and a busy weekend coming up (including yet another wedding), hopefully we will be seeing those guest posts in the near future. I'll probably be posting sporadically for the next week myself.
Sorry for the disjointed post - I'm a little out of it.
Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteDid you manage to make it to Toronto in one piece?
Yes, thanks. Good time, too.
ReplyDeletewelcome back, shavua tov, feel better!
ReplyDeleteFeel better, and have fun at that wedding!
ReplyDeleteHope this week brings you better health!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home and gut voch!
Welcome back
ReplyDeleteEzzie: I'm sad to hear you don't feel well...hope you're doing a little better.
ReplyDeleteThanks all.
ReplyDeleteI tried looking out for a Chevy Impala with NY plates but figured you were probably at the wedding at the time (and were probably not in my area).
ReplyDeleteSo, will you give us a post on your trip?
Well... we had Jersey plates, anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if there's much to post - I'll probably link to someone else's post who I met, and write something short. Some friends asked me not to write much about the wedding, and I might listen to them.
Oh, ok.
ReplyDeleteWell, you'll have to come another time with your family and take a proper tour of the city.
Seeing Toronto by driving along the 401 (assuming you took that highway) does not do it justice.
We might, maybe even this summer...
ReplyDeleteYeah, the QEW to the 401 to Allen Road. :)
Well, actually, the QEW to the 427 or the 403 to the 401 to Allen Road (I usually recommend the 427 over the 403 unless the QEW is jammed approaching Toronto).
ReplyDeleteTrue, but I took the 403. I thought it would be faster - it was completely clear both ways...
ReplyDeleteI believe the 427 will save you maybe 2-3 miles so its not such a big difference.
ReplyDeleteIf you come again via car, tune into 680News for traffic reports. You can maybe pick it up in the north of Buffalo area, for sure when you are an hour away from the city.
Usually if there is traffic, it will be on the 401 which you will have to take in any case.
Yeah, my friend basically said that it won't make a difference either way.
