Though it slipped my mind to vote between the first day and today, this is who I voted for today:
Best Designed Blog: Beyond Tshuva.Go Vote!!
Best Life in Israel Blog: JoeSettler (I voted for IfYouWillIt the first time).
Best Jewish Religion Blog: Maven Yavin (underdog vote) - though I didn't realize that Godol Hador was so far down. I think I voted for GH, though maybe Gil, the first time.
Best Series: Aaron's Story, Elie's Expositions.
Best Post: 9/11, Orthomom.
Best Overall: DovBear (last time, Hirhurim).
Best Jewish Culture: Orthomom.
Best Jewish Humor: PsychoToddler. Robbie would have gotten votes, but I forgot to. Ah well. Plus, he has plenty.
Best Israel Advocacy: The Muqata.
Best Politics: DovBear. (oof)
Best Personal Blog: Mirty's Place.
Best New Blog 2005: Orthomom.
Best "Mega" Blog: LGF.
Best Podcast: (Random click, as I have never listened to a Podcast...) The View From Here.
Best Student Life Blog: Fudge.
Best Group Blog: Beyond Tshuva (last time Maven Yavin, I think).
Best of the Rest: Jack's Shack. Duh.
I'd just like to point out that for Best New, I'm in a deat heat.
ReplyDeleteIf I lose, I'm blaming you.
LOL!!
ReplyDeleteSorry, OM is awesome. Too bad those from so long ago are included in "Best New"... I should note that I missed making the Finals in Best New by a couple of votes, so consider this revenge! :P
Wait a second ... if you voted for neither CC nor H in best religion, how are we supposed to evaluate whether you're krum?
ReplyDeleteLOL. No, no... THIS is Krum.
ReplyDeleteUch, I hate DovBear's blog. I stopped reading it last year. I though s/he was rude and crass to people with different points of view. It's not a very open-minded blog. I don't understand how it won.
ReplyDeleteJameel's my man. We're very tight. We have a love/hate relationship. I'm glad he won. We don't agree on a lot, but we have a mutual respect for eachother.
I'm excited to check out some of these blogs I've never heard about. Thanks for posting the winners!

ReplyDeleteYay! Someone who gets the point!
Thanks for posting the winners!
They're not the winners, just my picks. Go Vote!
Thanks for your votes, Ezzie! im flattered. Apparently, though, I need something more than flattery and your votes to win a JIB. Oh well. thanks again anyhow!
ReplyDeleteOM - Heh, true. Hey - at least you made it to the finals; I got knocked out in all 5 categories in the first round... (7th or 8th in most, too - what a tease!)
ReplyDeleteCheers!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ez, much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ezzie. That means a whole lot to me. For reasons you know, and reasons you don't know.
ReplyDeletesniff.

Yosef, Mark, DovBear: You're welcome. (I assume DB that you meant the oof part)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ezzie. I could never compete with an uber-blog like Robbie anyway.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the votes, Ezzie. Next time, though, open 20 browsers and refresh before voting, thanks.
ReplyDeleteOh, OK. Got it. Yeah, I have voted already. We voted for some of the same people, but I'm not saying. It's my god given right not to tell you who I voted for. Hahaha. I love that. People in Israel don't understand, at all, the American thing of not saying who you voted for. When I told my husband I wouldn't tell him who I voted for in the March elections, he looked at me really weird. It's priceless.

OC - LOL - though I'm of an Israeli mentality, and have no problem doing so most of the time.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that PT called mine an "uber-blog."
ReplyDeleteThat's kinda cool.
Yeah. Thanks for nothing...
ReplyDelete*sniff*
Kidding. You've been very supportive of the entire process and you've even helped me expand my knowledge of the JBlogosphere - that's WAAAY more important than who wins or loses.
Robbie - It's okay, he was being sarcastic. :P
ReplyDeleteCK - Heh - you guys are great, but I only just discovered you! And thanks to y'all, I found a bunch more as well. Thanks.
