JIB Awards Warming Up...

ADDeRabbi noted that the JIB nominees were up at the Jerusalem Post, but I was wondering what happened to a lot of the categories. I checked over at IsraellyCool's JIB homepage, and he hadn't posted anything yet - but Elder of Zion says that it is likely a test page by the JPost in preparation for the nominations, considering voting doesn't begin until next week. Looks good so far - and not just because I'm listed under "Best Overall Blog" and "Best Post" (for Welcome to the J-Blogosphere). Really.

I've already noticed a few blogs that I'm surprised are not on a couple of the categories, but perhaps they're in other ones or these aren't the complete lists, so I'm not going to go through them yet.

And the waiting begins...

  1. I don't see any of my stuff anywhere. I suppose I'll just hang my head in shame.

  2. Okay, so I noticed that y'all weren't on there - but they haven't even done most of the categories yet! No need to hang your heads - even if you make fun of Cleveland or root for the Giants. Though those are both good reasons... :)

  4. It's a test page, that wasn't supposed to be publicised.

  5. Sorry - I didn't find it, I saw someone else had it... I wrote that it's a test.

  6. I saw it too.. and I made a category!

And it's still there, as of now - if it's not supposed to be...

But I'll make a deal with you - you publicize me, and I'll publicize you - since we're not in the same categories...

    How 'bout it?

  7. LOL - I'll publicize anyone I like, even in the same categories as myself, so why not? :)

  8. Oh, but as a warning: I'm also going to note my favorite for each category, and that may not be you...

  9. Don't worry, I've gotten used to you overlooking my writing.

  10. Ouch. I read you daily! And I only highlight a few posts a day... on average, that would mean you'd make my roundup one out of every 6 times. I think you actually make it more than that... :)

  11. Well, I suppose it's an honor just to be considered.

(but it ain't gonna get the hit counter up)

  12. LOL. Robbie, I predict that when you do start getting more commenters, you'll soar in popularity - your comments are even funnier than your posts.

  13. For the life of me I can't figure out how DB is considered among the top Israel Advocacy blogs and mine isnt - granted, I wouldnt consider my blog to be focused on Israel Advocacy, but DB?

    Something isn't kosher here.
