Congratulations to Bad4Shidduchim on being selected to fly to Israel to accompany the Nefesh B'Nefesh flight leaving this coming Monday! I think she's a great choice (duh), and expect to read some great stuff from her over the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, I'm taking off a day of work so we can make a little round trip (and avoid traffic in the process) to Baltimore (Shabbos) and Philadelphia (Sunday) this weekend, then take part Labor Day morning in a rivalry softball game here in Kew Gardens Hills between my company and its larger counterpart.
This blog will continue to be sporadic probably until after the Yomim Tovim. Thank God, work has been incredible, and life has been busy. Kayla is walking, Elianna is a grown-up, and Serach is finally on vacation for a couple of weeks.
Please daven for my grandmother, Chaya bas Pesel. Thank you!

Name: Ezzie
Home: Kew Gardens Hills, NY
About Me: I'm a 26-year old Orthodox Jew who currently works as the controller of a publicly traded company, after spending a couple of years auditing hedge funds and a year as Mr. Mom. I attended (Touro's) Lander College for Men in Queens after two years in Israel, mostly in Yeshivat Ohr Yerushalayim (OJ). I grew up in Cleveland, OH, where I attended the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland (HAC) before heading to the Wisconsin Institute for Torah Study (WITS) for high school. I married my wife, Serach, in June 2004, and our daughter Elianna turned two in March 2008, while our daughter Kayla was born June 2008. Serach has a Master's in Education & Special Education from Touro (Summa Cum Laude), and currently works as a SEIT (Special Education Itinerant Teacher) in Queens. We've lived happily in Kew Gardens Hills, (despite its location in) NY since our marriage, and love all our friends and frequent guests.

Serach wishes her vacation will continue- but starts work next week and Elianna resumes school, and Kayla gets babysitting! Oh my gosh- it's September!!!!!!!!!!!! On a different note, I am glad you took a day off (really half a day) so you could see how well Kayla is walking and that Elianna is a grown -up (she wishes)!
also how could i forget- congrats to bad4! so happy for you!
Great Title :)
Enjoy the trip.
Were you also on vacation, Ezzie? Well, at least you'll be off Monday.
