“Haveil Havalim,” ”Vanity of Vanities” is the Jewish-Israeli blogging carnival consisting of posts from blogs all over the world. It’s hosted by different bloggers each week and coordinated by Soccer Dad. The term “Haveil Havalim” is from Kohelet, Ecclesiastes, which was written by King Solomon, who built the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and later on got all bogged down in materialism and other “excesses” and realized that it was nothing but norishkeit, “hevel” or in English “vanities.”Technorati tags: Haveil_Havalim, Blog_Carnivals, Jewish.

Haveil Havalim #45
Haveil Havalim #45 is up over at Mirty's Place! Check it out! She did a great job - I'd seen some of the posts over the week, as I tend to read a nice percentage of Jewish blogs, but there were a number of excellent ones from blogs I normally don't read or have never heard of. It makes you realize just how much there is out there. She included "Welcome to the Blogosphere", my article on blogging that I'm still looking for input on.
