ReplyDeletei dont get it, in your first team , who'd u pick second round? u took westbrook 3rd overall (would have taken addai assuming LT and AP were gone, but can't argue against westbrook) but did u take P Manning second round? seems like an odd choice in a 10 team league, b/c u had pick 23 and 37, could u have picked brees, rothlesberger, or warner there? and upgraded ur dreadful receivers? additionally, Green - i assume u mean ahman- isn't even the best RB on his team. he shouldn't be on ur team in a 10 team league. he isn't even the #1 running back on his team. there are so many better RBs to have. and i dont like justin gage as ur flex- there's gotta be s/o better, no?
ReplyDeleteur 2nd team is much better- star RB and WR with drop off b/w hassleback and P manning not so much. ditto with 3rd team
NYF - Agreed that the first team is the weakest. For the others, I had learned a lot from that first draft, which I never really did research for.

I should add that I traded Willie Parker (my 2nd rounder) for Peyton and Vernon Davis when another manager got messed over by the automated draft (he got Brady, Manning, Big Ben...). My draft in that one went Westbrook, Parker, Lewis, Smith, Anderson, Cooley, Moss, Seahawks, Chargers, etc.
I'm trying to trade Manning or Anderson for a big WR or RB. For now, Gage is the Flex, though obviously not as good as I'd like that spot to be.
Ahman Green is a weak player, agreed; he's more there to see what happens in Houston. If he clearly isn't getting the work, he'll be dropped fast.
I like the Chargers/Seahawks duo on D because of the matchups each week. Seahawks have an easy schedule, and Chargers fill their few hard weeks nicely.
